In a traditional call bell system, where a nurse or a GDA has to go twice to the patient for one request – once to know what he needs and the second time to deliver what he required, CLARA, helps reduce these two trips to just the one as the request is communicated to the concerned department through the application.. The staff visits the room just once to deliver what has been requested.
The application is an elaborate system that maps beds to a floor, staff to the floor and also staff to the beds. All the requests are automatically assigned to the concerned staff through their supervisor and time noted for timely delivery. Time of raising a request and its delivery are recorded for improving service quality.
